Friends of Mount Washington School supports the library as the heart of the school community. While working closely with the librarian, we ensure that the space is welcoming and inclusive for all students through the purchase of furniture and materials that promote a welcoming environment. In addition, FOMWS is proud to sponsor author's visits throughout the school year. Author's visits enhance literacy skills, improve the reading culture in the school community, and promote creativity in students. It is also a great way to connect authors with readers, and students with real-world writing careers.
