Thank you for your continued support of our school and Friends of Mt. Washington School. The 11th Annual Auction and Fiesta raised $58,400 for our public school on the hill! Our children will have new benches when the new school year begins in August and will benefit from great supplemental educational programming.

The money raised will add to our children’s educational experience next school year. The Online Auction will close on Tuesday May 31st at 6 pm. You will be able to pick up your items at the last Friends of Mt. Washington General Meeting on June 9th.

Whew. Glad that’s all squared away because this event going to be so ridiculously fun! Our online auction is now live. Click here and register as a bidder. When you do, your name will be entered into our Friends of Mt. Washington Piñata Drawing for the chance to win a Whole Foods Gift Card. You don’t even have to be at the event to win … but if you don’t come, you can’t partake of delicious Golden Road Beer or Mexicali tacos or Antiqua Coffee or El Trigueño Tequila or selections from Silverlake Wine and what fun would that be?

STEVE & KATE'S CAMP
There are 3 STEPS TO REGISTRATION!
A few things to note:
- For pre-school to elementary school age children only.
- Drop-off begins at 5:30PM and you must have your child picked up by 10:45PM.
- Pizza and drinks will be provided by FOMWS.
- Activities will include crafts, fun games, and a movie (Rise of the Guardians).
- Sleeping bags, pillows, and stuffed friends are welcomed!
If you haven’t already purchased your spot, please do so here. The cost is $20 per child and proceeds go directly to FOMWS.
Most importantly, please download and fill out the consent form here and bring it with you when you drop your child(ren) off. Your child will not be allowed to participate without this form. Also, for the safety of your child(ren), please be aware that in order for your child to be picked up, the pick up person must be listed on the form and show photo id. No exceptions.

This year come to the auction and fund NEW School Playground BENCHES. The kids are already excited at this notion. “You mean I’ll be able to sit down whenever I want even if I’m wearing shorts?” Yup.
Friends of Mt. Washington is pleased to announce that due to our generous sponsorships, the entire operating cost of the 11th Annual Fiesta and Auction is covered. This means that 100% of proceeds from our May 6th event will go to fund things that our children need. 100%! Buy your tickets today!
Last year you helped fund an upgraded computer lab with new Mac Computers, put printers in every classroom, and shared the costs of several beloved school programs with PTA.

- An outdoor Classroom including 3 tables with umbrellas.
- We are also working on bringing after school robotics classes.
Take home something awesome, like a week summer vacation home in Hawaii or Tahoe, a classroom art project put together by your child and their classmates, or a gift certificate for your next date night in our neighborhood. Buy an amazing experience to impress your friends: dinner for 8 prepared by our local firefighters at Firehouse # 44, a swim party at a beautiful home in Mount Washington, or have a chef come to your home to prepare a 6 course meal for you and 8 guests. You will buy auction items you want and need knowing that the money you pay will benefit our children.
Remember the more we raise, the more our children & community benefits!

Steve & Kate’s Auction Mini-Camp is from 6 to 10:45. The cost is $20 per child.. Space is limited so register early!
“I can’t attend the 11th Annual Friends of Mt. Washington Silent Auction and Fiesta because I don’t have childcare.”
Well, now you do. And not just any childcare, Steve & Kate’s Camp Childcare! Friends of Mt. Washington School is delighted to welcome Steve & Kate’s Camp to our own MPR where they will be hosting an evening of activities including a popcorn bar and pizza for our little auction beneficiaries. There will be an animation station for budding storytellers, a Cinco de Mayo-themed craft and a movie.
Heck, your kids may not ever want to come home.
Steve & Kate’s Auction Mini-Camp is from 6 to 10:45
The cost is $20 per child.
